FAQ
Q: What is your standard turn around time?
A: Our standard turn around time after payment is received and final artwork is approved is 7-10 business days. We reserve the right to apply a rush fee to orders required in less than 7-10 business days. Rush fee rates are as listed and do not include increased shipping rates or time in transit: +25% 4-5 day printing, +50% 2-3 day printing, +100% overnight printing.
Question: How do I send my artwork?
Answer: We can accept original artwork digitally through email or via www.yousendit.com. Please email to: pedalprinting@hotmail.com. Hard copies can be mailed or delivered to the shop. If you would like your hard copy/original returned please let us know upon delivery.
Q: How should my artwork be prepared?
A: All artwork must be print ready, and color separated when sent. If this is not possible, an additional art preparation fee may be charged at a rate of $20 per hour.
We prefer artwork sent as an Adobe Photoshop file of 300dpi resolution, and sized to scale. We can also accept high quality jpeg images.
If you can't provide either just email us and we can work something out.
Q: Do you have a minimum print run?
A: We typically call two dozen our minimum print run. But we enjoy special projects and odd jobs and understand some projects are not meant to be printed in high volume.
Please email us for quotes on short runs and special projects.
Q: Why do you offer three different clothing brands?
A: We encourage purchasing USA made and sweatshop free brands such as American Apparel. But we understand not everyone can afford the higher price tag. So we have decided to offer two additional options: Alstyle and Gildan. Both are sweatshop free(unlike hanes and jerzees), and are assembled outside of the USA under fair trade agreements. And Alstyle is made of USA exported cotton. If you like the soft feel of American Apparel, Alsyle offers a "ringspun cotton" option which has a very similar soft feel.
Q: Are any of your other products made in the USA?
A: We do our best to purchase only USA made and local goods and supplies. Everything we offer, besides our apparel, is 100% USA made.
We also make a huge effort to cut down on our hazardous chemical usage. By using only soy based non-toxic clean up chemicals, and printing our posters/record covers with water based non-toxic inks.
Q: What type of stock do you print your posters and record covers on?
A: We typically print French Brand, 100% recycled, USA made papers unless otherwise requested. French Paper is a family owned/operated paper mill run on 100% hydroelectric power. We can special order other various archival rag and specialty papers. Just ask when ordering!
